This is a lightly used and still in excellent condition martin 000-18MC model, the signature instrument for British folk musician Martin Carthy. There are some specs on this guitar that pay tribute to Martins own modifications to his guitar which include a zero fret, solid brass bridge pins on the treble stringss. There is unscalloped 1/4" top bracing and a small maple bridge plate to enhance resonance and response! The guitars tail block appears to at one point have had electronics installed, which are now removed and the hole has been plugged with a strap pin. The guitar is #22 out of 84 made, and includes the original hardshell case!
