This is the new 00L-16E from Martin as a part of the 16 Series, an excellent model to introduce a warm and intimate voice to the series pairing a bit more modern style with a vintage platform. The guitar has a gloss Black Smoke top finish with a natural satin treatment to the mahogany back and sides. The sloped-shoulder 00L body size delivers a woody, responsive voice—ideal for fingerstyle, songwriting, or expressive rhythm work—while offering surprising projection from a compact frame. A grained ivoroid pickguard adds a distinctive visual touch, while scalloped X-bracing enhances sustain and resonance for a full, dynamic sound. L.R. Baggs Element electronics make it ready for live performance or recording. Strung with all-new Martin Era Legacy Edition strings developed alongside the refreshed 16 Series, it’s built to command the room.
