On our last trip to Nazareth, PA to the Martin factory - we picked out some extremely nice pieces of wood for our newest batch of Martin Custom Shop instruments, among them a set of beautiful Sinker Mahogany that we decided to put onto a 0-14 fret body size with a VTS Sitka Spruce top and subtle appointments such as a Style 18 rosette and faux tortoise binding. This guitar sounds nothing short of fantastic, with crisp highs and a well pronounced low end, it's easily an instrument that will only sound better with time.
