Never one to rest on their laurels, Martin utilized a new Torrefaction technique on this guitars Adirondack Spruce top. The added stability adds a distinct focus to the tone, and the darker grain really makes the Spruce pop. The body is finished in a Natural gloss to let the wood show through. The Genuine Mahogany back and sides provide a full and rich tone, with a projection that has to be heard to be believed. The 18 style appointments, including the inlaid wood fiber rosette and purfling, provide a beautiful complement to the classic looks of this Martin.
