Custom Shop 2-27 Guatemalan Rosewood Item Description

This incredible Martin Custom Shop Size 2 model is based on the original 19th century 12 Fret 2-27 - and it's a serious blues box with impressive volume and tone for it's size! It's tonewood package includes a VTS Sitka spruce top and Guatelmalan rosewood back and sides, both covered in a satin finish that makes this one look and feel like a century old guitar, without the blemishes! The genuine mahogany neck is carved to the Modified V profile and boasts a 1-7/8" (2-5/16" at bridge) nut width and ebony fingerboard. The top is adorned with the 30 style multi-color rope inlay and style 45 abalone rosette, and other nice touches include an ebony pyramid bridge, slotted headstock, grained ivoroid binding, and golden age relic tuners with cream buttons. Also adding to the vintage vibe is the stamped logo on the headstock.
