As if the tone that comes from a Martin dreadnought isn't bold enough - add in the power of koa (highly flamed koa, at that) and you have this beautiful creation. A Martin Custom Shop Dreadnought built of hand-picked pieces of flame koa by The Music Zoo, finished in a dark sunburst finish and wrapped up in flame European body binding. The guitar has an abalone top inlay, and Style 45 fretboard inlays outlined in flame koa. Like most koa wood guitars, as you play it - the wood will bloom into even more complex overtones, but as it stands right out of the case? This one is loud and rings clear as a bell, we can only imagine how good it will sound a few years down the road!
