This is a Martin Custom Shop Expert Model Dreadnought - only available at Custom Shop Expert Dealers such as The Music Zoo. The guitar has a professionally repaired crack on the bass side of the outer rim of the guitar, near the neck heel, and one on the backside of the lower bout - this was fixed at the Martin factory and the guitar is back to being in good health. Being an aged guitar, the crack fix blends right in.
This Dreadnought 14-Fret is built of Adirondack spruce with Madagascar rosewood for the body all wrapped up in a Stage 1 Lighly Aged finish and Vintage Hide Glue construction. It's based off of the classic 1937 models which feature Authentic Adirondack spruce bracing and a 1937 Barrel and Heel neck profile, but with the modern adaptability of an adjustable truss rod!
