Custom Shop Style 40 00 Guatemalan Rosewood Natural Item Description
This is a Martin Custom Shop instrument featuring a wood set hand-picked by The Music Zoo at a trip to the Martin factory. It's a Style 40 00-body with a 12-fret neck, sitka spruce top and Guatemalan rosewood back and sides - based on historical Pre-War Martin that we have seen and admired! The neck has a vintage-feeling "V" profile, with cosmetic accoutremont that include abalone reduced hexagon inlays, abalone top inlay to outline the sitka, and grained ivoroid binding. The guitar is a fingerpickers dream, and quite honestly - it will be hard to let go to a new owner!
