Introduced in 1965, the Martin D-35 took the Dreadnought design to the next level with a three-piece Rosewood back. At the time it was the company's solution to a scarcity of quality Rosewood lumber, but it continues today to feature the gorgeous grain of the Rosewood. This 50th Anniversary model features special East Indian Rosewood construction for the back and sides, as well as a gorgeous curved East Indian Rosewood center wedge in the back.
