The Story

HD-28 Semiquintennial Acoustic Guitar

This is the special edition Martin HD-28 Semiquintennial - built to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States Declaration of Independence. Of course fitting to the anniversary only 250 guitars are made. Built off the base model of a Martin HD-28, the guitar has inked artwork designed by the talented artist in residence at Martin, Robert Goetzl. The most unique feature on the guitar is the use of wood from the Basking Ridge white oak; a 600-year old tree which stood through the First Great Awakening and the Revolutionary War. George Washington's troops drilled within view of its braches. The white oak is incorparated into the endpiece, heelcap and Liberty Bell headstock inlay.

Includes: Hardshell Case and Paperwork
