Here's a rare Martin that is quite a special guitar: the Robbie Robertson 00-42K2. To commemorate the career of The Band's frontman Robbie Robertson, Martin released a limited edition run of 100 acoustic guitars. This pre-owned guitar is number 77 out of 100. Features on the 00-42K2 include a highly flamed koa top with solid Hawaiian highly flamed koa back and sides, a select hardwood neck with a modified V shape, a solid black ebony fretboard with 19 frets, 24.9" scale length and a bone nut. The cosmetic appointments on this guitar are a solid Madagascar rosewood headplate with a select abalone torch pattern inlay, grained ivoroid fretboard and body binding, style 45 snowflake inlays, and a grained ivoroid heelcap as well. The inside of the guitar features two labels, one being signed by Robbie Robertson that also states the number of the guitar in the run. The guitar is in excellent condition with the original hardshell case included!
