MXR's La Machine Fuzz is already a modern classic. Add wooly sub-octave sounds and you have a real killer pedal: the MXR Custom Shop Sub Machine. The La Machine's vintage fuzz sound is perfectly complemented by the low-end rumble. A separate Sub control lets you dial in just the right amount of lows, while the Series button lets you send the lows directly into the fuzz circuit for an otherwordly scream, or run them in parallel for a more subtle thickening.
