This is a very limited edition (only 500 pieces worldwide) MXR 5150K Katakana overdrive pedal, an overdrive collaborated on with Eddie Van Halen to go after some of the most powerful and full-range sounding overdrive sounds available out of a small box. The 5150 Overdrive joins hand-adjusted multi-stage MOSFETs with a full complement of controls to deliver overdriven tube-like tones and exceptional sonic flexibility through a wide variety of amps and speaker cabinets. A built in boost switch adds gain and compression, while an onboard gate tames the unwanted noise.
