PRS S2 Vela Semi-Hollow Antique White Used Item Description
This is a lightly used S2 Vela Semi-Hollow from PRS. The guitar just has light pick marks around the pickguard. Finished in a classic looking Antique White, the Vela Semi-Hollow adds all of the modern looks and tonal versatility of the original Vela, and adds an open, airiness via the F-hole in the chambered mahogany body. The electronics are a bright and chiming Vela bridge humbucker and PRS-designed Type-D single-coil in the neck for clear rhythm sounds. The coil-tap on the tone control allows the bridge pickup to split to singlecoils, providing a balanced tone that will cut through the mix with style. Anchoring this guitar is the PRS plate-style bridge with two saddles that were designed to compensate for intonation. The bridge looks back to Paul Smiths early designs that coincide with other plate-style bridges, but this one is top-loading for super easy string changes! Like the bridge found on Paul’s Guitar and some Private Stock models, PRS’s plate-style bridge features brass saddles and an aluminum plate for maximum tonal sustain.
