The Jeff Loomis Signature Blackouts neck humbucker is all about sustain, dynamics, tracking and articulation. When Jeff Loomis plays a solo he needs a neck pickup that can keep up with high-speed picking and legato techniques but is also dynamic enough for more sustained passages. Developed over many months and tested on tour with Arch Enemy, Jeff’s neck pickup is very articulate and responsive, with a focused bass response to keep lower notes from sounding too boomy and a slight bump in the treble frequencies to faithfully reproduce his pick attack.
