2016 NAMM Display Made to Measure #68 7-String Electric Guitar Item Description
This is one of the coolest koa tops we’ve ever seen on an electric guitar – so it’s fitting that it’s the top on something as unique as a .strandberg* Made to Measure instrument. This is M2M #68, which we found on display at the 2016 NAMM show, where it rightfully earned the nickname of the “Eye of Sauron” due to the centered figuring in the Hawaiian curly koa top. The guitar is loaded with two Lundgren M7 pickups, and an East Indian rosewood neck with walnut laminates and an ebony fretboard to give the guitar a very natural feel along with an emphasis in the low-end and low-mid tones of the instrument.
