This is a 2016 Limited Edition 414ce with a Shaded Edgeburst finish over a nice piece of Engelmann spruce for the top. Engelmann has a nice, clean white color with a rich midrange that sounds a bit more played-in right out of the box than a wood like sitka spruce. This guitar's design makes it versatile enough for everyone from the beginner to the advanced finger-style player. The built-in Taylor Expression System 2 electronics enable you to plug in and record directly from the guitar or run the signal to a PA system, making the 414ce perfect for live settings as well.
