The 410e has a dreadnought body shape with a big, clear voice. It's built using a Sitka spruce top with ovangkol for the back and sides. The combination of white binding on the body and fretboard, gold hardware and a tortoise pickguard makes for a very visually appealing guitar. The combination of woods, which includes a mahogany neck and ebony fretboard, yield a full tone across the spectrum, but midrange is quite pronounced. People will have no problem hearing this guitar while unplugged. Meanwhile, using the onboard Taylor Expression System 2 electronics, which includes an active preamp, allows the 410e to be used in a great variety of situations: stage, studio, coffee house, even campfires.
