Built in a limited run of only 1974 instruments worldwide, this is a barely played (and originally sold here at The Music Zoo) Taylor 50th Anniversary Builder's Edition 814ce Grand Auditorium - celebrating 50 years of the excellent Taylor Guitars company. The 50th Anniversary BE 814ce takes Taylors flagship model and refines it even further with a set of Sinker redwood and Indian rosewood for the top and body, respectively. All finished in a Kona Edgeburst color, the redwoods blend of cedar-like warmth and projection is complemented by the midrange of the Indian rosewood - all turbocharged by V-Class bracing. Like its standard Builder's Edition sibling, this model boasts a beveled armrest, beveled cutaway, chamfered edges and a Curve Wing bridge for seamless playing comfort. Limited-edition appointments include a gold-hued mother-of-pearl peghead logo and matching Element inlays, maple purfling around the fretboard and peghead, a green abalone rosette, premium Gotoh 510 tuners, and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots.
