Mahogany has been an extremely valued tonewood for instrument makers for decades. With a meaty midrange, and strong emphasis on the fundamental frequencies, it delivers a strong, direct sound. Taylor's 524ce--here in a left-hand version--offers a mahogany top, as well as the back and sides: a rare setup that exudes these properties. With Taylor's popular Grand Auditorium body style, this guitar is well-suited for many styles, with a tone that is still unique. And Taylor's Expression System 2 delivers a warm natural amplification for stage or studio.
