Mahogany has been an extremely valued tonewood for instrument makers for decades. With a meaty midrange, and strong emphasis on the fundamental frequencies, it delivers a strong, direct sound. Taylor's 526 offers a mahogany top, as well as the back and sides: a rare setup that exudes these properties. With this Grand Symphony's large waist and lower bout, strummers will enjoy the extended fullness and sustain, while fingerpicking still sounds clear and articulate. This is a used example and it's in excellent overall condition no notable damage.
