This is a used 714ce that was part of a Fall Limited run in 2014 that featured the guitars with Blackheart Sassafras for the back and sides on these excellent looking Grand Auditoriums. The sound of sassafras yields a mix of low-end warmth, woodiness, and focus with treble sparkle, and responds well to each player’s individual style. The chameleon-like properties of the woods, plus Taylors Advanced Performance bracing, together add even greater breadth to the versatile Grand Auditorium body. This 714ce has repaired side damage and a top crack - both areas of which are now structurally sound, and the guitar still plays and sounds wonderful! The original Taylor case is included as well.
