This is the Taylor 'Next Generation' 812ce Grand Concert! The Next Generation Taylor models feature three stellar additions to classic Taylor guitars; a Long-Tenon Action Control Neck previously only available on Gold Label Collection instruments, scalloped V-Class bracing giving you a warmer low-end and richer open-string resonance, and new Claria electronics!

The new appointments are available for the first time on a Grand Concert body size. The Spruce and Rosewood combo of the 812ce gives you a warm and balanced sound with rich overtones, perfect for fingerstyle players especially with the 24-7/8" scale of the Grand Concert shape. Appointments are classic 800 Series specs; maple binding with maple/black top purfling, a single-ring green abalone rosette and an Indian rosewood pickguard to match the body.

Developed with extensive input from touring artists and live sound engineers, Taylor’s new Claria System reimagines the under-saddle piezo pickup to deliver consistent plug-and-play acoustic tone in any setting. A proprietary preamp tames the harshness of traditional piezos and incorporates soundhole-mounted controls: Volume, Tone and a versatile Mid-Contour knob. The result is consistent, stage- ready tone that’s easy to shape for any setting — from solo café gigs to large-venue performances.
