Here’s a used but not abused Taylor 812 model, built with a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood for its back and sides, along with design aesthetics consistent to the 800s. The difference is the 12-fret's bracing and positioning of the bridge. The different neck/body joint requires the bridge to be closer to the instrument's lower bout. By articulating a different place on the top, the tone is somewhat darker--not as bright yet with well pronounced high end and dynamic range. It sustains forever with absolute musicality, and a real "singing" quality when fingerpicked. The guitar is in overall excellent condition and includes the original hardshell case.
