Taylor's 814ce is a grand auditorium cutaway-sized acoustic/electric guitar that delivers a big, authoritative tone and natural projection. It's balanced across the frequency spectrum, with lots of low-end and shimmering highs and well-balanced midrange emerging from a Sitka spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Some great aesthetical appointments add to the appeal of this very versatile guitar. This particular 814ce is an HP (high performance) model that is differentiated from the regular model by having a bone nut and saddle, Adirondack spruce bracing, and Gotoh 501 tuners. Of course, Taylor's Expression System 2 electronics are included as well.
