This Taylor 816ce has a unique florentine cutaway that's somewhat more pointed than on a normal 816ce. It's a nice aesthetic touch. With its big, Grand Symphony body and the timeless combination of a spruce top and rosewood body, the 816ce produces a warm, very sweet tone rich with bell-like detail. It's gorgeous fingerpicked and well balanced when strummed. It's the kind of guitar that you can hear from a considerable distance away.
