This is a very lightly used and still in excellent condition Taylor Custom Shop Grand Concert 12-Fret built from AA-grade Hawaiian koa that The Music Zoo spec'd out during a trip to the Taylor factory in El Cajon, California! We decided to let the beauty of the wood speak for itself and leave the cosmetics subtle with grained ivoroid binding, a single-ring rosette and Heritage Diamond fretboard inlays all carved from grained ivoroid. The shorter 24-7/8" Grand Concert scale length and 12-Fret neck really give the strings a slinkier feel and let the top vibrate faster than usual when you strum harder: lots of projection for a small bodied guitar! Of course with all things koa, this one will just get better with age.
