Built of woods hand-picked by The Music Zoo on a trip to the Taylor factory in El Cajon, California - this is our 12-string Grand Symphony with a Florentine cutaway! The tonewoods chosen are premium bearclaw spruce for the top with Indian rosewood as the back and sides, all wrapped up in figured Hawaiian koa binding with a matching single ring rosette. To go with the light brown color of the binding, we have matching koa/boxwood inlays for the Ocean Vine fretboard inlay and Taylor headstock logo. We thought a Grand Symphony was the perfect vehicle for a 12-string build with its bold piano-like bass notes and thicker-than-usual treble. Make this bold one of a kind Taylor yours!
