GTe Grand Theater Urban Ash Acoustic-Electric Item Description

This is the new Taylor GTe Grand Theater guitar with Taylor ES2 electronics. The Grand Theater is a compact body shape that features the basic curves of the Grand Orchestra and scales the size down to be between a Grand Concert and GS Mini body. The lower bout measures 15". The tone woods are all solid sitka spruce for the top and solid urban ash for the back and sides. The scale length is a new 24-1/8" size, an equivalent of playing a 25.5" scale guitar with a capo on the 1st fret. The nut width is 1-23/32" - wider than a 1-11/16" but narrower than 1-3/4" making it a very comfortable size for fretting. The scale length combined with the 12-53 gauge factory strings make it feel as if its a full 25.5" scale tuned down to E-Flat, making the tension a bit lighter and a very fun and easy guitar to play! The Taylor GT is voiced with new C-Class™ bracing architecture. The “C” refers to the cantilevered, asymmetrical design, which combines stiffness and flexibility in a way that helps accentuate the lower frequencies to produce a surprisingly warm bass response for its compact dimensions. Each GT features a koa rosette, Italian acrylic fretboard inlays, and a faux tortoise shell pickguard to complement the looks. Each guitar includes a quality Taylor AeroCase for travel!

Includes: Taylor AeroCase and Paperwork
