Only found in the Hawaiian Islands, Koa is an absolutely unique looking tonewood. The word Koa is Hawaiian for "bold", and can be applied to the sound as much as the striking grain texture. It is noted as being bright and focused, with warm overtones. With the K24ce, Taylor pays homage to this exotic wood with a Grand Auditorium body that is completely Koa, with all-wood appointments including an Island Vine fretboard inlay, Indian rosewood binding, and a rosewood/maple/rosewood rosette. The popular Grand Auditorium body style provides the perfect blend of body and articulation. Complete with Taylor's on-board Expression System, this guitar will catch eyes and ears.
