Found only in the Hawaiian Islands, Koa is a unique-looking tonewood. Okay, let's be straight forward here: it's a gorgeous-looking tonewood. The word Koa is Hawaiian for "bold", and can be applied to the sound as much as the striking grain texture. It is noted as being bright and focused, with warm overtones. With the K24ce--here in its left-hand version--Taylor pays homage to this exotic wood with a Koa Top on a Grand Auditorium body that is completely Koa, with all-wood appointments including an sland Vine fretboard inlay, Indian rosewood binding, and a rosewood/maple/rosewood rosette. The popular Grand Auditorium body style provides the perfect blend of body and articulation. Complete with Taylor's on-board Expression System, this guitar will catch eyes and ears. This K24ce is a lightly used example and is in excellent overall condition with no notable damage.
