The wait is worth it when it comes to Tom Anderson Guitarworks instruments. This is an unbelievable Angel model with a Quilt maple top and Ginger Burst finish to the top with a transparent Cherry finish to the basswood body. The guitar is a phenomenal instrument with a ton of versatility that can pull off anything you throw at it, thanks to the HSH construction with a split-able humbucker and VA Booster in the electronics. The VA Booster is a no-battery powered color change for the pickups to which it is applied, approx. 4db on single coil-style pickups and split humbuckers. The boost's effect is less apparent on full-power humbucker pickups but lends a nice saturation and smoothness.
