This is a great playing, vintage Martin concert sized acoustic guitar. A 1944 Martin 0-17 model with a natural finish to the mahogany construction. It's always super humbling to be able to play a guitar built so long ago. The guitar while having vintage looks and tone, was reworked at the Martin factory in Nazareth, PA where they reglued all loose wooden parts, performed a side crack repair on the upper side of the lower bout, installed a new nut, straightened out any warped pieces of wood, reset the neck and refretted the board as well! All professionally done work by craftspeople who made the guitar play just as well as it did when it was originally built, however the guitar currently has a crack in the lower side at the waist that has not been repaired. It sounds and feels fantastic, and includes a non-original Martin hard case.
Includes: Non-Original Hardshell Case, Martin Factory Repair Documentation
