This classic 00 features all-Mahogany construction for a full, low-end tone that wonderfully complements the small-bodied sound. Perfect for recording, this vintage Martin is finished in a Natural gloss to let the gorgeous grain of the Mahogany shine through. The rectangular Rosewood bridge and Rosewood fingerboard give a unified, woody look. The tortoise pickguard and single-ring rosette keep the look understated and let the tone do the talking! Over 60 years of aging have given this guitar a wonderful patina, with dings, dents and scratches as would be expected on a guitar of this vintage. The most notable damage, including pick marks on the top and some deeper scratches, are shown in the photographs. The original tuner buttons were replaced with a new set, but the original tuners are otherwise intact.
