The Story

Used 1959 ES-345 Semi-Hollowbody Electric Guitar Tobacco Sunburst

Gibson's semi-hollow designs from the late 1950's provided electric guitarists the perfect blend of airy hollowbody tones with the feedback resistance of solidbody instruments. This stunning 1959 ES-345 is finished in a classic Tobacco Sunburst over the Maple laminate body. The Rosewood fingerboard is inlaid with Mother-Of-Pearl Split Parallelograms for a distinctive look. The aged Gold hardware adds an amazing patina to the instrument. Despite its age, this ES-345 is in excellent vintage condition with some light scratches and dings as would be expected on an instrument of this vintage. The original tuner buttons for the Single Line Kluson tuners have also been replaced.

Dual PAF humbuckers provide the ultimate in vintage tone, with sweet highs perfectly complementing tight low-end. Plugging into a vintage-inspired amplifier yields all of the classic sounds guitarists love! The six-position Varitone adds another timenstion of tone sculpting, ensuring your tone always cuts through. The included Mogami stereo-to-mono cable lets you plug into a single amp, making the 345 an even more versatile instrument.
