Used 1962 Vibrolux 6G11 Brownface Combo Amplifier Item Description
Here we have a '62 Fender Vibrolux combo amp in exceptionally clean condition. This is a powerhouse 30 watt 1x12" combo amplifier powered by two 6L6 power tubes. The Vibrolux is a two-channel amplifier, both Normal and Vibrato - vibrato meaning tube tremolo in this case. Like other brownface Fenders, this amp has a nice and powerful midrange and overall full sound that would fill out the rhythm guitars in any band wonderfully, especially when given a light overdrive once you hit around 6 or 7. The caps in the power section have been replaced over the years, as well as the leather handle. The tolex covering is in great condition with no rips or major scuffs, and the amp includes the footswitch to turn on the tremolo.
