Here we have an absolute original classic. This vintage 1964 Gretsch 6120 Chet Atkins hollowbody electric is in very great playing condition. There are a few dings and scratches on the body and neck, some cracking on the neck binding which has been re-glued once before, and a slight bend on the G-string tuning peg. The binding around the neck joint is lifting just a slight bit. This Chet Atkins has what seems to be factory installed blackface Filter’Tron humbuckers which sound fantastic. Features include the simulated (painted) "F" Hole Body, with Original Smooth Leather Back Pad, a Space Control Bridge, chrome plate brass knobs, a string mute, and the Original Gretsch "V" Bigsby Vibrato. The string mute needs to be put in place a bit over the high-E string, though the lever still works. It could stand to use a new piece of foam if it were to be used extensively. Overall an excellent vintage Gretsch with undeniable vibe.
