Introduced in 1965, the Martin D-35 featured a three-piece back. At the time it was the company's solution to a scarcity of rosewood lumber, but it continues today to feature the gorgeous grain of the East Indian Rosewood. This pre-owned model features a bound Ebony fingerboard and the D-35 bracing pattern. The Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides combine with the bracing to provide a unique tone that's still classic Martin. This instrument is in overall very good condition with some light finish checking on the top as shown in the photographs, however there are no cracks in the wood.
