Here's a great Les Paul that's from a special series done in the 1980's that began the Reissue trend - a 1981 Heritage 80 Elite Les Paul with a cherry sunburst finish. The Heritage 80 saw Gibson going back to '50s inspired designs and as they became popular with artists, inspired the company to start doing more reissue instruments. The Elite series was the higher tier of the Heritage guitars with an ebony fretboard and a beautiful quilted maple top. The humbuckers were Tim Shaw designed to be more like the coveted '50s PAF humbuckers. This guitar is in good players shape with markings and light dings around the guitar, none of which affects the playability.
