This is a great playing ’52 Tele reissue built in 1982 with a butterscotch finish and classic looking maple neck for a great Tele spank. The guitar has had mods over the years, making it a true players guitar: the guitar has the original pots and pickups, with the neck dating to 1982, the body date however has been obscured. The 3-way switch has been replaced as well as the hardware, and the neck pickup cover was spray painted to match the gold hardware, some paint is visible on the coil winding and also around the route on the body. The pickguard is now a tortoise shell guard. There is surface marks and light scratching on back of the body, nothing to affect the feel of the guitar. The neck plate has been changed, hence we do not have the serial number.
Includes: Original Hardshell Case
