This is a Les Paul released by Gibson in 1991 to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the namesake model. The guitar is tuxedo-ed out with a black finish and topped off with classy gold hardware. The woods are traditional Les Paul with a maple cap on a mahogany body and mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard and trapezoid inlays. Loaded with two Gibson P-100 pickups, the guitar has a clear and crunchy Les Paul tone. The guitar is in great shape; with the black finish the guitar has some surface swirling and marks throughout the body - no major dings or dents on this one. The guitar has had its tuners swapped out for gold Schallers, however the originals are included in the hardshell case.
