Here is a pre-owned Super 400, made by Gibson in 1991 and not to mention built by the very talented Jim Triggs before he went on to start his own high-end company. The Super 400 is a hell of a showstopper instrument. From its booming body width of 18 inches, luxurious appointments such as the "Super 400" engraved gold tailpiece and pickup covers, multi-ply body and fretboard binding, to our personal favorite when it comes to Gibson inlays; the split block, the Super 400 is one of the classiest instruments we can think of when it comes to the Jazz boxes of the guitar world. This Super 400 is in very good playing condition: there are lacquer checks throughout the body with some light discoloration on the body binding around the bottom strap pin. The pickguard is also slightly warped - all cosmetic issues that do not affect the feel or tone of the guitar.
