This 1991 pre-Samick Valley Arts Custom Pro is a great piece and an expertly crafted guitar based on the Steve Lukather signature model. The body appears to be a solid piece of figured maple and is a true sight for sore eyes with some nice quilting. The birdseye maple, burst finished neck is topped with an exceptionally fast ebony fingerboard, and the guitar is loaded with top quality hardware and electronics throughout, including active EMG pickups and Schaller hardware (including the Floyd). The guitar plays and sounds just as good as it looks, and is a great example of an early USA made Valley Arts. The guitar is in very good condition for it's age, it does have some scattered hard to see dings, and surface scratches, as well as some light fading of the gold hardware, but overall it's nice and clean! It includes a non-original hardshell case.
