The Gibson Custom Shop's reissue Les Pauls are known for their great feel and authentic features that make them perfect for players and collectors alike. This pre-owned 1958 Reissue features a gorgeous carved Flame Maple top mated to the Mahogany back for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard for a classic look. All the small details from the Top Hat control knobs to the classic Les Paul peghead veneer have been carefully recreated. The Lemonburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish looks gorgeous over the Maple top. This instrument is in overall excellent condition. The original owner swapped out the original neck strap button for a new piece, but we're including the original here. The original owner also installed a set of knob pointers and swapped out the pots and caps for high quality CTS pots and Bumblebee capacitors.
