This beauty of an instrument is a pre-owned 2001 Custom Shop ’59 Les Paul, aged by the talented Tom Murphy with a Washed Cherry finish over the flame maple top. The guitar has a solid mahogany body with a slight “V” to the ’59 neck shape, two Burstbucker humbucking pickups, and nickel hardware. This '59 is in very good condition with the wear all original to how Murphy intended it to look minus some extra dings and dents around the body and headstock edges, and this is one of the best tops we've seen in a while - lots of depth and flicker to this one! The pickups have a bit of a waxy feel to them so it's likely they were wax potted and then re-covered with the nickel plates.
