The Gibson Custom Shop's reissue Les Pauls are known for their great feel and authentic features that make them perfect for players and collectors alike. This pre-owned 1959 Reissue features a gorgeous carved Quilt Maple top mated to the Mahogany back for a tone and sustain that has to be heard to be believed. The Mahogany neck is topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard for a classic look. All the small details from the Top Hat control knobs to the classic Les Paul peghead veneer have been carefully recreated. The Iced Tea nitrocellulose lacquer finish looks gorgeous over the Maple top. This instrument is in overall excellent condition with some very light surface swirling on the back. Please note, this instrument was shipped from the factory without a pickguard installed, leaving no screw holes for a guard to be installed.
