The Story

Used 2004 L-4C Archtop Guitar Natural

Always a classy archtop, this is a Gibson L-4 in a natural finish to let all of the wood grain of the spruce top and maple back and sides show through. The guitar is a non-electric L-4, with no pickup installed – a great instrument for those looking for authentic 1950’s Jazzbox tone. The guitar is in very good playing condition with some tarnishing to the hardware, lacquer checking around the body and near the neck pocket, some stress cracks in the lacquer around the fretboard edges, and the pickguard has some spiderweb cracking (though it’s structurally sound, and stable). A well playing guitar with some light cosmetic issues to make it a bit more affordable than other archtops.

Includes: Original Hardshell Case
