Designed by Eric Johnson himself with his own personal features and preferences, this pre-owned signature model has a comfort contoured two-piece Alder body with a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The one-piece quartersawn Maple neck has a soft V-shaped profile and a 12" fingerboard radius for a comfortable feel. The staggered vintage-style machine heads eliminate the need for a string tree, and the custom pickups are wound to Johnson's specs. Other features include a '57-style parchment pickguard, vintage tremolo, silver-painted block and '57-style string recess with no paint between the base plate and the block. This instrument is in overall very good condition with some light scratches and dings, most notably by the input jack and behind the bridge.
