The original Precision Bass was a revelation when it was first introduced in 1951. A fully-fretted neck allowed for more accurate intonation than double basses of the era. This pre-owned 1955 Precision Bass aims to capture the spirit of those original basses. The Ash body is sculpted with comfortable body and forearm contours and finished in a Two-Tone Sunburst lacquer. The quartersawn Maple neck is carved in a classic soft "V" shape . A hand-wound '55 Precision Bass single-coil pickup provides tons of muscular low-end from under the signature chrome pickup cover.
