Used 2007 Jack Casady Signature Bass Metallic Gold Item Description
This is a pre-owned Epiphone Jack Casady bass in a great looking goldtop finish. We love Casady basses for their warm, hollowbody low-end tone at a super affordable price. This bass has had a neck heel repair. There is a visible scar, but the work looks very solid, there are surface swirls and light buckle rash on the back as well. It's a player bass that sounds and plays great, and won't break the bank.
When it comes to legendary bassists, Jefferson Airplane's Jack Casady is known by leagues of players. The Epiphone Jack Casady Signature bass is the result of collaboration between Casady and Epiphone to re-create Casady's 1974 semi-hollow Gibson Les Paul bass. As with other basses favored by Casady this bass is semi-hollow and features a specially designed JCB-1 low impedance pickup for added clarity and solid low-end. A vari-tone switch allows for some great tone options.
